Still sick, but got good news

I have managed to see a job offer for me, rosefox and an apartment in a nice neighborhood appear in the space of a week. We'll be OK in NYC, earnging decent money, we'll have a place to live, and everything else will be OK.

In other news, I need to get boxes. Lots of boxes. Anyone wanna help me out here? What I really need is one or two rides back from Palo Alto. I plan on getting a whole whackload of boxes from the bookstore at the Stanford mall. I still know people working there. But I need help getting the boxes back to the city.

I may head down to Valencia street and try and get some boxes from the various bookstores there, but schlepping them back to my bhouse isn't all that appealing.

Oh, and re: sick, I'm feeling a lot better, but I'm still totaly exhausted, queasy, and headachy. But nowhere near as bad as I was yesterday.

A female friend of mine and her girlfriend were just recently booted out of a resturaunt because they were sitting together and holding hands.

It makes me sick that this happens.

Anyhow. I was wondering, readers, if anyone knows what the law in CA says about that sort of incident. If I were to go to the resturaunt and get a confirmation that this was policy, what would my legal options be?
