Argh

Following an utterly failed quest to replace a compact fluorescent bulb (grocery stores only sell incandescent bulbs here) I managed to drop the glass shade for my ceiling light onto my floor, shattering it.

It has not been the spiffiest of evenings. Also, only one of the fixtures in the ceiling light works. I'm buying a floor lamp for my room. And possibly two for the living room. Also, the power in this room sucks.
